# Optional Parameters

Optional parameters are `query.place_metadata.phone_number` + `query.place_metadata.naics_code` + `query.place_metadata.website` + `query.place_metadata.store_id` + `query.place_metadata.mcc_code`.

If you have any of these optional parameters, including them is recommended in your queries.

Please ensure these fields are nested under place\_metadata in the query. See the [Example Queries](/documentation/placekey-api/example-queries.md) section for details.
